When I was very young my father, taught me how to draw, showing me the basics of perspective and the basic building blocks. For many years I stuck with pencil sketches but his encouragement to add colour to my work finally opened a new door for me.
With a lifelong love of animals, they became my primary subject and I enjoyed doing anything with fur, from wildlife to domestic animals and pets. While I sometimes like to expand into landscapes and other subjects, trying to capture an animal's expression is still my favourite pastime.
Alongside of my love of animals and the natural world growing up, I have watched in great sadness the destruction of our planets flora and fauna at an unchecked pace. It is my hope to be able to use my art to raise awareness and support for organizations dedicated to healing the damage we have done and prevent further loss.
